the Hunger Games

Hey book worms! today I am going to rate the book " The Hunger Games " by Suzanne Collins. I am just going to go right into it so first of all I LOVE the hunger games series! The story is about a place that the world made after a HUGE nuclear war called Panem. Panem created the hunger games because they wanted to show all of the districts what they deserve even though I DON'T think they deserve it, so in every district there is a reaping where 1 man and 1 woman get picked to go to a arena and fight to the death until 1 lone victor remains. In Panem there is a Capitol were the Rich people live then there is the 12 districts and each district supplies a special thing for the Capitol. District 1 is Luxury, District 2 masonry, District 3 technology, District 4 fishery, District 5 power, District 6 transportation, District 7 lumber, District 8 textile production, District 9 grain, District 10 livestock, District 11 plants, District 12 coal. As you can see the 12 districts supply the Capitol with everything you need to survive and more. Now on to the characters Katniss Everdeen ( played by Jennifer Lawrence ) and Peeta Melark ( played by Josh Hutcherson ) are from district 12, and they go to the hunger games along with 22 other tributes.
